  1. In a medium pot, sweat garlic with butter until lightly browned.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients except water. Stir well and lightly toast for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the hot water and stir well. Bring to a simmer and simmer covered for 5 minutes. Allow to rest for 3 minutes covered.

Yield: 6 cups
