Creamy Chicken and Brown Rice- Bechamel

Add some health to classic chicken and rice with THRIVE Brown Rice.

  1. In a 2 qt. saucepan, sweat garlic and butter on medium heat. Once garlic begins to brown, add mushrooms and onions and lightly toast. Add wine and simmer until syrupy.
  2. Add water and all remaining ingredients except rice and béchamel. Bring to a simmer for 1 minute.
  3. Add rice and béchamel, stir well, and simmer for 6 minutes or until thick.
  4. Allow to stand 2–3 minutes and serve. Finish with 2 tbsp. additional butter if desired.
