  • 1 3/4 c. warm water
  • 3 tbsp. Instant Dry Yeast
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp. Iodized Salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. Whole Egg Powder + 3 tbsp. water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. water
  • 5 c. Whole Wheat Flour

  1. Preheat oven to 400⁰F.
  2. Using a mixer with a dough hook attachment, combine warm water, yeast, oil, and sugar. Let rise until bubbly.
  3. Add salt, eggs, water, and flour. Mix dough until smooth. Add additional flour if needed to get dough to pull away from bowl. Knead dough in mixer for about 4 minutes.
  4. Let dough rise for 1 hour. Roll out dough on a floured surface. Form into medium size balls by rolling on floured surface with palm of hand.
  5. Let rise approximately 15 minutes or until double in size. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Brush tops of rolls with melted butter. Let cool before serving.

Yield: 36 rolls
