Easy sauce for chicken enchiladas from our veloute mix!

  1. In a small saucepan, warm water and green chilies.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream and cheese and simmer for 4–5 minutes on low heat.
  3. Add sauce to blender and blend until smooth. Pour back into saucepan, bring sauce to a simmer, and shut off heat.
  4. Fold in sour cream and cheese.
  5. Use in enchilada filling and pour on top of enchiladas before baking.
