This pesto adds just the right touch to our Tuscan Tomato Soup recipe.

  • 1/4 c. pine nuts
  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1/4 c. THRIVE BasilTHRIVE Basil
  • 1 tbsp. THRIVE ParsleyTHRIVE Parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. Iodized Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. THRIVE PeppercornTHRIVE Peppercorn
  • 1/4 c. olive oil

  1. In a food processor, bring the pine nuts, cheese, and garlic together and process until paste-like.
  2. Add water and herbs and mix well.
  3. Add salt and pepper, then drizzle in olive oil while stirring until blended.

Add to Tuscan Tomato Soup or other soups or sauces.
