  1. Reconstitute sausage and drain excess water.
  2. In a medium skillet, sauté the onions, garlic, and sausage; season with all the seasonings and herbs and let stand to cool.
  3. Mix sausage mixture with cream cheese until well blended. Allow to rest together for several minutes in refrigerator.
  4. De-stem mushrooms and place in baking dish.
  5. Hand roll 12 balls of the filling and place inside each mushroom, pushing down to secure. Bake at 350F for 10–12 minutes or until soft.

Serving Idea: Top with a small diced red or green pepper for garnish.
