Rich pecans coated with a sweet and savory sauce and roasted to perfection!

  • 1 1/2 c. Pecan Halves
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. Pure Vanilla Powder - Spice Can
  • 1 tbsp. Water
  • 1/4 tsp. Iodized Salt

  1. Place all ingredients together, except the pecans, in a small saucepan and cook until sugar and butter are melted, looking like caramel. Fold nuts into mixture.
  2. Pour out onto a Teflon baking pan and roast in oven at 350 for about 7-10 minutes or until sugar caramelizes on nuts.
  3. Set aside until ready to assemble parfaits. Try not to eat them all!

Yield: 1 1/2 cups
