Red Wine Sauce for Meat

  1. In a small saucepan, sweat garlic and onions with 1 tbsp. butter until brown.
  2. Deglaze with red wine, and add seasonings. Reduce until syrupy.
  3. Add water and sauce mix and stir well. Simmer on medium low heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Strain through a fine strainer and finish with 2 tbsp. butter.
